Former Orlando Magic player Hedo Turkoglu told a Turkish television station he wants out of Toronto according to ESPN.
“When the circumstances turned against me, I lost my enthusiasm for this city,” Hedo Turkoglu said. “My lawyers have talked to the front office recently. Honestly, I do not want to go back to Toronto. My lawyers talked to Mr. [Bryan] Colangelo and I hope that they will come up with a solution soon.”
Hedo Turkoglu signed a five-year deal with Toronto after the Magic released him and brought in starters Vince Carter and Matt Barnes.
It’s no secret Hedo Turkoglu hasn’t been happy or very productive in Toronto, but it’s a fate he brought on himself when he passed up a chance to compete in Portland with Brandon Roy.
Even still, Turkoglu is a talent and I’m sure several teams would be willing to accommodate him. So where should Hedo go in a summer that’s shaping up to be a blockbuster of free agency?
